Love your hounds, Elvis, Asher, and Dobby. Our current racing rescue is San Francesco, AKA Santo. Santo is a 7-year old gentle giant. A champion on and off the track and, as his name and jet black coat with a white patch just below his collar demonstrate - is a real Saint. Santo has fully committed himself self to the “Retired Life”, though can’t be bothered to blog, but is open to consulting. Santo’s favorite hobbies are saying the rosary with me, getting ear rubs, and eating cheese - which he discovered on his first night home after we turned our back on the kitchen table. He could not believe his luck and thanked us from the bottom of his giant heart for placing a large plate of shredded cheddar just where he could reach it. Like your trio, Santo brings the joy. Keep up the great work.
Wow - sounds like a real angel! My husband’s grandfather was named Santo and he was also a gentle giant. We should arrange a greyhound meetup sometime. Our boys would love to see Santo in the flesh!
Hi, If you are ever in the NC/Raleigh area, we’d love to let the dogs chill together! Greyhounds always seem to like one another. There are actually a few in our neighborhood.

So true! Elvis is never smug
Fun piece Zahra
Exquisite piece of writing,,,really doggone good!
When your world has broken down
And Elvis sings the blues,
Remember that we're all still here
Despite the nasty news.
We're waking up this time around
And not about to fold,
We saw the truth through salty tears
And not the lies they told
Did you write this? It’s beautiful
Inspired by singing hounds and from the heart
Hope you’ll put it to music and play it for us
Welcome furlosophy friends!
That’s ‘grey’t!!
