Dr. Steven Goldsmith exposes how “Medical Assistance in Dying” has morphed from a compassionate option for the terminally ill into a bureaucratic death machine.
One thing…..actually more than one thing I have learned about our government and healthcare system here in Canada is firstly, you need to be your own advocate
Do your research and don’t take the doctors word for anything…..become informed and only then make your own medical choices.
Secondly and this is tied to the first one. Once you accept that your government and healthcare system are both willing to kill you over their own ideology then things become clearer and easier to deal with.
In a weird way, Covid and all that government over reach was a gift because it made them show us their true natures and what we saw under a caring facade was not pretty.
Your child is brain dead. I know this is a painful time, but may we harvest the organs?
Don't worry, we ensure your child will not be in any pain or discomfort. We will paralyze, sedate, and administer pain meds.
Me:
How does that make sense?
I am not and organ donor. My shit is going with me. I'm not feeling bad that I do not want to save others with my death. Life is tragic. The medically unwell will be in a better place or are finally at peace.
That's what your told when others die. Not being insensitive, just speaking the truth.
As an ITU nurse I was told to prep a child so we could harvest his organs ,,, I still don’t understand why I had to set up A Paralysing agent , Sedative & Painkiller ,,, in Theory the child was brain dead .
In China they do Live Organ harvesting - No Anaesthetic , Analgesia , sedative ,The last one I heard details from surgeons wife - harvest - Heart from woman pleading not to do it whilst tied to the table & surgeon approaching with circular saw to open the chest ! ,,,, I hate China
I am a mental health therapist. Last year I had a nurse as a patient.
She described a scene where she was a participant in an organ transfer of a 16 year old “brain-dead” drowning victim. She held his hand while the other surgical physicians were “chomping at the bit,” waiting the required amount of time to get started with the procedure. She fought for his dignity, and was ashamed of being a participant. She quit right after this.
This is a chilling story, and no doubt one that can be multiplied hundreds or thousands of times by others who haven’t yet voiced what they’ve witnessed. Kudos to that nurse for stepping out of a system she could no longer stomach being a part of. But what kind of world have we created where this is the necessary course of action? Thanks for sharing.
The number of stories we've been hearing recently of people who go from being "brain dead" to conscious as they are being wheeled in to have their organs removed is seriously scary. But your China story is truly terrifying.

100% agree and everything you say is true not only in Canada but elsewhere too!
Pretty sad isn’t it🤔

It haunts her to this day.
