Will have to see it later, but please already thank and bless Peter for all he does. We have finally found - with all his modesty and worldviews - our guru🙏.
I'm in SW MO, noticing more retail and office space up for lease. I'm seeing more "toys" like boats, Jetskis, expensive cars up for sale along roads, too.
I have very little faith in the markets at any time. They are built on the news cycle rather than any actual business reality. That's not to say that you can't take advantage of it, as long as you are willing to accept the risk involved.
Many people became quite wealthy during the Great Depression. People who were overextended lost everything.
The number one priority anyone has is to put themselves in a position to capitalize on the opportunities that the instabilities present. That means not being in debt. You don't get ahead by spending money that you don't have. That means not spending money on stupid things. Conspicuous consumption only impresses poor people.
It really doesn't matter to me if prices goes through the roof because the things that are most affected are not anything that I am dependent on. If gas prices go up, I can walk or ride my bike. The exercise is good for me. I rode my bike to work daily for years.
