While I agree with personal responsibility, This conversation is conveniently forgetting :

A. our Boomer generation benefited from low cost education(a socialist program) to avoid debt, most of student debt now is creating a penury class. No one should live like this

B. The 1% haven't paid their share since 1980's dissolution

Anyone acting all entitled that young'uns should not have done the debt to learn the myriad of advances made since then isn't going to appreciate simpler medical care of herbs for his next cardiac event.

I like my fire dept, medicare for those who need it, libraries and other Socialism constructs.

Bottom line is not to accept the digital currency United non- compliance You are allowed to say no!

It’s not going to be easy. But we can do it together

The alternative is living in a panopticon

One of the things Peter mentioned, that our children will likely be living in a lower standard of living than their parents, got me thinking. Our own kids, grownups now, seem to be caught up in ideology, living week to week without the ability to save and grow their assets. I even admire their non materialistic attitude and their generosity despite them not having much. But they can't see what's coming and I worry about that. They should be preparing, but they somehow believe there's nothing they can do.

Insightful and useful conversation , even though US centric, a lot applies to the UK. Although I disagree about the ‘religious ‘ group we need to worry about because ‘they’ are not the ones in positions of power in or over governments etc.
