Since these are simply paid, scripted actors, complicit yet controlled and "owned" front men and women for their transnational criminal syndicate sponsors (the unseen hand with real delegated power, influence and authority who in turn are simply avatars for dark spiritual forces anxious to realize their long-sought after total spectrum dominance & ownership of the planet, its populations, resources and its wealth) -- the ones grooming & directing them in their respective roles, ensuring they adhere to the protocols and objectives given to them in the seamless tapestry of the "story" being sold unapologetically -- what we saw was the equivalent of their public-facing, occult-based rituals including their mutual celebration of their individual and "cast" performances on the world stage -- like a scene from the Oscars or the Tony Awards - plastic smiles, feigned humility (or bloviated brevity) & self-congratulatory speechifications.
It was not the thunderous approval or recognition of true power and real leadership - no one fell to the floor enthralled with near-deity fascination (or horror) as there was no humility in sight: they were a choice (hand-picked and "selected") gathering of the presently favored psychopathic narcissists recognizing themselves and their continued mastery over the uniform continuation of deception, duplicity, and artifice of their respective roles portrayed to entrain and control the masses, successfully moderating the faciliatation of the ongoing illusion, the casting of spells, the carefully chosen sleight of hand - the masterful spectacle and and the accompanying mass delusion and mind control -- the evidence of well-rehearsed lines, of character development, of scenes so well executed that they, at times, felt they actually were inhabiting the people they were representing while the fans cheered on (a star on the dictator walk of fame?) -- like a moment out of the 1930s where Nazi salutes and dramatized declarations were used to stir the crowds to unity and to achievement of the underlying objectives - hysteria orchestrated and directed for purpose, not a moment wasted or a gesture or word unscripted or unpurposed.
After all, as long as they do what they're told, mind their manners and remain within the bounds of their predetermined roles, (with occasional script notes or when necessary , public reprimands or even removals) they enjoy the fame and fortune, with the promise that when it's all over and the final scene has been completed, they will still have a place of importance and prominence at the table - they will still be seen as necessary or useful to their puppet masters.
They are the active participants in the perpetuation of the Hegelian Dialectic -- the false dichotomies that are carefully recycled and reframed, but optimally repurposed and reintroduced as the masses are slowly led to slaughter, participating willfully, hypnotized and enthralled by the cult of personality and the divisions created to prevent their uniting to foment the needed resistance/rebellion against those who would be their rulers - willing (by their complicity and passive acceptance) their own slavery and facilitating their own self-sabotage....while being herded into their digital prison and to their final state of usefulness -- their purpose served as the door for freedom slams shut behind them -- they are the trophies of the victory won.
I had to read your comment twice to really get the gist of it. You made a lot of good points that resonated with my own thoughts. It's interesting how you frame it, at times from the perspective of "evil" global domination. Puppets and puppet masters is a good analogy but I think it's more complex and difficult to interpret.
These players at the WEF probably think they're not evil at all, but of course they are deluded; just humans who learned, and took a path that gave them wealth and power, which probably meant selective blindness and rationalization of the evil agenda.

I DO believe that though these are puppets in the hands of their “handlers” (owners), some, perhaps at some point genuine, they do not survive long unless they are complicit and embrace their scripted roles. In their respective roles, they either do the tasks as prescribed and enjoy the benefits (at least “for a season”) or they’re eliminated or minimized/replaced/disqualified from participation. I see the only legitimate hope for humanity in Jesus Christ and HIS eternal kingdom. The demise of this world system has been foretold and the characteristics of that deterioration and demise are falling into place at an “accelerated” (per their plans and philosophic dispositions) pace.
The foundation of everything to which we’re witnesses is spiritual, manifested in a fallen world system (the visible, tangible, physical realm) that is passing away. The greatest achievements of humankind pale in comparison to what God has for those who are His own (because we are born defective and cannot, of our own strength, energy or aspirations, no matter how noble, produce ultimate and permanent “good” - and history is an attestation to that).
We’re seeing the natural end of accumulated millennia of deception and lies perpetuated by the evil one, who has, from the beginning, after the “fall”, sought to create a synthetic replication of the one, true kingdom, not ruled by an all-powerful, yet just and loving God, but instead one of absolute tyranny and control “total spectrum dominance” to coin the military idea ruled by the evil one himself.
Our hope and our lives here are but a shadow of what is ours in Christ Jesus — so while we’re here, as new creations, indwelt by His Spirit, having been given everything pertaining to life and Godliness, living in Union with the LORD and being called to love, to serve, to “see” but not to participate in the rampant downfall that is everywhere present, to admonish, warn and as carefully and truthfully as possible, direct those who see the devastation and the evil to the One who has already remedied it, pronounced the sentence on those guilty, and is simply waiting for the appropriate time to begin and permit the (controlled, purposeful) final destruction to occur.
It feels like we’re closer but we focus (not only on the signs of the deterioration, the players and their complicit participation in the fulfillment of ages old predictions materializing before us but) on His goodness, mercy, love & grace — recognizing the repeated, intentional, deliberate and now visible and even boastful violation of His laws and the ultimate outcome of our ancient ancestors in that garden choosing the “knowledge of good & evil” — seeking to be like God — over simple trust, belief and enjoyment of all that He freely provided for them.
Fortunately, Jesus is the way, truth and life — His eternal life can now be ours. This is the news that deserves to be told but is systematically being infiltrated, amended, censored, and suppressed because it is the source of hope that is the solution to every problem and ill that have surfaced for our consideration…what humankind will ultimately produce is death and destruction. We will need to choose with Whom we align ourselves and pledge our lives on.

While it is fun to envision a noble, educated electorate making sound decisions with total altruism, this is people we are dealing with. The huge majority will lie, cheat, and steal to game the system. There are a huge number of people who are barely kept from doing all manner of horrific things through fear of getting caught. Of course that only applies to everyone else. We think of ourselves as the only ones who can be trusted.
Maybe we can be trusted. Still, even if we can, we are a small minority.
You can't have accountability without vigilance. The basic choice we are left with is do we have the oversight performed by algorithm and electronic surveillance or an army of corruptible humans who must in turn be monitored and kept from abusing their position of power?
Whatever your political persuasion, you have to admit that we don't have a great track record of choosing out leadership. We believe our choices are great and everyone else's are the problem. We have a poor track record of selecting and monitoring the rules of society.
The real question becomes how do we agree on what will work and not be too intrusive.
In a largely Technical Society—where all the drivers of the economy, medicine, education, etc are technical: information access, measurements, etc—OF COURSE you will have a technocracy.
The question is, how will you control it: with humans or machines.
Trump, your “villain”, understands this, is on the human side, and has proven it many times in the last year, and with his public statements and writings.
That makes him a hero: Man over the now-inevitable machines which make a modern quality life of freely accessible plenty and good health in the context of self determination possible.
